As you’d expect from R2, comfort and style go hand in hand: this season brings everything you need for an effortless, laid-back summer look.
For this spring and summer collection, we drew inspiration from summer skies: cool and light in spring, warm and hazy in summer. You’ll see it first in this collection’s colour palette, where sky blue takes centre stage. However, the blues are accompanied by soft, warm tones that echo summer sunsets: washed reds and pinks, warm neutrals like beige, and touches of deep green for an interesting contrast.
The atmosphere and dynamic of summer skies also shine through in our prints – what we’re known for. You’ll recognise all kinds of elements that move through the air, like clouds, birds and planes. Graphic, minimalist, abstract or more expressive, there’s a print for every style and occasion. And you’ll only find them at R2.
But what we’re perhaps most proud of this season is our choice of materials. We’ve put real thought into innovative fabrics that truly shine in spring and summer: lightweight linen-cotton blends, moisture-absorbing modal, and airy and breathable seersucker… every single one selected to keep you feeling cool and comfortable on warm days.
Finally, everything in this new collection is easy to mix and match. Start with a few quality basics and update your wardrobe with more contemporary fits. For example, this season brings polos with a zip or Johnny collar, as well as a double-breasted version of our best-selling travel jacket. A polished daytime outfit or a relaxed weekend look?
